I'm a tenant in a federally backed property in Louisville, KY. While living here, we've experienced unreasonable rent increases and unwarranted fees. Meanwhile, our landlord does virtually no maintenance and maintenance workers leave apartments unlocked, leading to squatters taking up residence. Our government needs to act to hold these landlords accountable for how they treat us if they're going to benefit from taxpayer money.
