I'm a tenant in a federally backed property in Louisville, KY. In the last two years, our landlord has forced us to start paying sewer, water, and gas separately in addition to raising rent. We now pay almost $1200 for a 2 bedroom apartment. We paid about $900 a month when we moved in a few years ago. The government needs to stop federally backed landlords from treating us like this. We need stable rents and fair, consistent lease terms.
