Rent is too high and I’m worried each year about how much it will increase. There needs to be federal regulation on how much landlords can increase rent if at all. Public housing should be expanding. We need clear easy ways to access affordable housing in ALL neighborhoods. If landlords are receiving any money from the government, the government needs to enforce certain standards in those buildings. Maintenance repairs need to be done timely. There needs to be consistent heat in the winter.
