It was the first time I applied for low income housing, so I was apprehensive.
There were 2 leasing agents. One was very nice and polite. The other one wasn’t very nice and in fact she was rude. The o Lu time she inserted herself in a conversation was to get my deposit check. After that I never talked to her again. Only to find out they denied my application because of my credit . My score was 630 so I was confused. I got so stressed I managed to make a big payment on my credit card to bring my score up. It did but it was too late. After that the next property in Bloomington also denied me but didn’t bother to tell me. Even though I emailed or called ever other day. I had to call the ceo of the management company to get the answer. Denied. So I couldn’t move, I had to get out of my unit became I have my 2 month notice. I was already paying month to month now for 2 weeks so I had to get out! So I moved across the street to another building but the same owner. It ended up costing $2000 to move a 1 bedroom and half of a living room.
