Even in Maryland, evictions have become epidemic, landlords benefit from cover in the State Legislature, and Legal Aid can't handle the tide of cases needed by tenants facing eviction. Gov. Moore has withdrawn his proposal for $175m in aid to needy families facing eviction, and the Legislature ended without restoring that assistance. SHAME ON MARYLAND!
