Having seen the explosion in rental costs and increasing numbers of unhoused people -- and the impact of these changes in my neighborhood, I ask that the federal government implement rules requiring landlords who receive federal funds to implement fair tenant regulations. This would include protection from excessive rent increases and protection from eviction without cause. This is a national crisis. Please implement tenant protection regulations.
