Landlords who receive government money should act in the interest of the public, which includes their tenants, not only in the interest of the stockholders (who may not even ben Americans). Please require tenant protections (e.g. limiting rent hikes, banning evictions without good cause, standardized leases) for rental property owners who receive federal funds.
