I might be missing something, but I don't understand why this is even a question. All of these initiatives are valid and proper in their own rights, but if we add that the landlords are getting federal support, then there can be no further question. What else is the government (the taxpayers) paying for? Landlords think they can take what they want, given to them by the public, and they don't owe anyone anything? We are no longer civilized, and we are losing any sense that we are even a society.
