    I am an older disabled America. My husband and I have rented the same home at the same rent for seven years. My wonderful landlord sold the home to be historically preserved to the neighbors. While I am very relieved the land won’t be turned to condos upon my landlords death, I am now faced with an impending forced relocation in an area we’ve been completely priced out of. Upon beginning my house search I see nothing but cooperations renting out homes to people who must fit in a very specific box whom they care nothing about. My less than stellar credit history and pets immediately rule me out at the go. What is this country going to do with the influx of unhoused seniors? Look they other way like they do on every other social issue. I’m ashamed of our country right now. I can afford my $1500 rent but the banks say I can’t have my own home with a $900 mortgage. Shame on all of you who claim to represent the people.
