When I got Section 8 at 60, I was so relieved. In Arizona, every year the landlord can evict you with only 6 weeks notice for no reason at all. They make money from those that can't get out in time & lose their deposit & their belongings. Then the new deposits and application fees come in. It's nerve-wracking. I've seen 12 yr residents not get a renewed lease or find a new apt and go downhill from there
