The problems most low income familys face is government housing in the State of Indiana only give tenants one week to pay rent before they charge 20 dollar late fee then after the 7th of the month if not paid tenants receive 10 day notice to quit if not paid then eviction if tenant don't leave. .Also just random inspections without notice or only one notice posted by the elevator per floor or downstairs on office window. Not everyone sees them. If you refuse them you could be in violation of your lease. Maintenance issues and filth not taken care of but they want rent money.. we need better protection for tenants and our rights and privacy
