I am a low income renter in Salt Lake City Utah. I'm on disability, so I have a low, fixed-income. My rent went up 25% last year. 25%! I think that is too big of an increase at one time. There should be a cap on the percentage that rents can increase at one time. Like 10-15%, maybe? 25% is too much! Especially when inflation is so high. Gasoline is high, food prices are very high. Just to keep the roof overhead, it takes money away from food, dental care, internet, things that seem disposable on a low fixed-income. Thank you for listening.
