I would like suggest laws/protections for disabled individuals. Regarding leniency for
time where paying rent is concerned. As it beyond our control when we receive our checks which places us in jeopardy every month of losing our housing Another suggestion for laws/protections for disabled individuals to securing safe housing. Most landlords are now asking for 3x-4x the income amount per rent. Leaving disabled individuals literally out in the cold, because we only have one check per month. A law / protection should be established requiring landlords to accept us if our checks can pay the monthly rent & not require us to have 3x-4x the amount of income per rent. IBecause HUD & Section 8 simply aren't enough. Those wait lists are outrageous and are not moving.I hope to hear from you & I thank you in advance.
