All I can say is this: $1200 per month for a 2 bedroom house with 1000sq.ft., no pets, no smoking, over 600 credit score, have 3x the rent in income, all utilities paid by the tenant, this is just too steep for low income earners, especially single parents working hard to provide for their kids. I've heard of a good markup, but this is extortionate. No wonder there are few small sized landlords and mostly large housing investors. What sort of mortgage terms do they have to pass these sorts of ridiculously high rents on to us?
