I've been in a tenant in a property for Nevada road housing for 4 years they are ran in such a crooked way we just had a lot a big dispute with them because when we got our increase from for her for social security our building is a senior building and it's supposed to be they get funding well they raised our rent to take away every single dime of the increase that we got for social security and people had to move because they couldn't afford it and it was like people were 92.82 years old been here 789 years and they just got scared and we just had to fight we went to the commissioners we went to the city councils and we begged them to try to help us so the 3 days before they wanted the money they resended it for now The problem was these people are such crooks The Nevada road housing staff two of their staff their director in one of the other directors there incorporated and made a managing company they became the managing company of this complex and they for 2 years they did nothing around here and every single 6 months they are a year they would raise the rent people move in 3 months after they move in they raise the rent they were doing such illegal and rotten business and he were a senior citizens we don't have anywhere to get extra income from but they didn't care we asked to meet with them over over again they wouldn't meet with us they their people in the office were never here they would come and they would just say well that's what you have to pay you have to pay it that's it so we fought we were going to pick it we were going to pull a rin strike us old people but finally at the last hour the 9th hour they resended it for now we feel that all their records are wrong they have so much inconsistency with different people and it's just sad that we have no protection as senior citizens these people can raise our rent and take every single dime of our income and it's supposed to be affordable low income rent here but they don't care they have horrible practices and nobody can do anything about it they are the federal housing and they are the housing authority and they they say they own this place the people that come they say they own it well I last time I thought if it's a housing authority that that housing authority is actually the government's own place so they work for that company doesn't make them the owner they may be the representative for the owner I don't know but it's so much fraud they they it's just a long story but there's a lot of people in here that have cases that could be brought against these people but we're so old we don't have anybody to represent us they don't have any rent protection here in this state and it's just sad it really sad that we have no protections against the landlords
