I currently live in the Missouri City, TX area. I have been searching for a place with my housing voucher since April. I have been turned down several times and by apartment complexes with my housing voucher. They've told me that they tell the people who call that they don't accept the program because they don't want to deal with housing. Then another one in Richmond, TX told me face to face that they say no over the phone, won't accept voucher if you're not working, and that I would still have to make 3x the rent even with the voucher. So what are we supposed to do.
