I am grateful to have been able to move, but I have to work 2 jobs to pay the rent. My previous address was not maintained, which left the unit with mold, water damage, broken screens, and outlets that didn't work. The property owner never came to fix anything when we made a request.
I am asking that FHFA implement and enforce real tenant protections and rent control for all federally backed mortgages. Everyone deserves safe dignified homes
