    Tenants need a federal rent hike cap of at least 1.5%. As wages stagnant post-pandemic, bills and other day-to-day spending needs face inflation, and as our economy takes a downturn, there is no way for the average renter to keep their heads above water. As a leader with KY Tenants, a member of the Homes Guarantee campaign, and as a tenant in Kentucky, I believe that rent should, at the very least, keep up with what actual people can afford. Please help make that the case by capping rent hikes at 3% of the CPI, or 1.5% at the very least.
