In Sept. of 2008, I purchased shares in Fannie Mae for myself & my family thinking that this was a good investment. At the time, if I would have known, that my Federal Govt. would steal my investment I would never have invested our money in FNMA. The American public need to believe in their government & these actions that have been taken against Fannie & Freddie are distressful & border on thievery. Both of these institutions are vitally needed by the housing industry. Please allow them to function as intended. We wonder why Americans have developed this anti-government attitude well this is a good example of that. The net worth sweep is simply the taking of private property illegally. Please respect the rule of law and stop this destruction of these institutions.
