In response to the 'conservator' actions governing Fannie Mae by the FHFA over the past several years, they should be regarded as illogical; shameful; unconstitutional; and outright fraudulent.

By any definition in the English language, the word 'conservator' means to preserve, not to diminish. Sending all net income of Fannie Mae to the US Treasury is stealing, not conserving.

The income of Fannie Mae is private property, not the government's. Sham transactions created for the government's benefit under spurious circumstances yet to be disclosed; illogical explanations used to defraud shareholders and create a false debate in the public mind do little to create confidence in any elected authority. This is the United States, not a 'Banana Republic' - stolen monies should be returned.
