I would like to emphasize the need to re-build capital for the GSE's. FHFA should prepare the GSE's for recap and release given their profitability and reforms made under conservatorship. FHFA should NOT be allowed to arbitrarily decide to rob shareholders of their ownership and dissolve the companies. The role of conservator is to assist the companies ontheir path back to normal operations. After the government has profited from making the companies publicly traded, they cannot decide to at a later point dissolve the companies with no compensation to shareholders. This is the LAST piece of unfinished business from the financial crisis, after 10 long years lets finish this!
