    As a shareholder, I do not understand why FHFA has not release Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from conservatorship. They are clearly successful businesses that provide an instrumental service; maintaining liquidity in the housing markets. Nowhere in HERA did it state for FHFA to wait for Congress to 'reform" these companies. They have proven their strength and should be released from conservatorship immediately, allowed to build capital and to vote on a new board of directors. After nearly a decade it is time for FHFA to act.
