I am a shareholder and owner of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The companies have paid back the original amount and interest as per the original agreements. They need to rebuild capital to be safe and sound again, and need to be released from conservatorship back to the private sector. Shareholder rights need to be respected no matter what the outcome will be, and the Constitution especially the Fifth amendment needs to be respected to stop any further taking of private property, which accounts for 20.1% ownership of the two companies.
