My family has worked hard for years, no, decades, to build our credit scores, pay down debt, and afford a home. We have gone without things we wanted, took on extra shifts, recycled and made do. Now we are going to be punished for making good choices, working hard and taking personal responsibility. This is unfair. There is no other word for it. Housing is a problem in the US, but punishing people for working hard only to reward others for not, is absolutely not the answer. Inflation, interest rates, infrastructure and other issues should be addressed to make changes. NOT punishing hardworking people.
