I’d like to voice my opposition to the fee hike for those with good credit to help risky borrowers. While seemingly altruistic, this policy is a BAD idea. This rewards those who make poor decisions with money and punishes those that make good decisions. It is a fact that you always get more of the behavior you reward. It will not help risky borrowers in the long run by allowing them to get houses that they can’t afford. And those that have a good credit wonder why they need to work so hard to keep it. Please reconsider this horrible idea! I will be following up with my senators and representatives.
