Please do not move forward with the mortgage rate hikes to subsidize high-risk applicants. This is obscene. I’m told to have good credit for better rates and for keeping my debt down, growing my income and having excellent credit my family would be penalized. This is counterintuitive to everything I had to do to get a mortgage. Why make it more for me to borrow in the future? Please do not hurt those of us who make strong efforts and pay huge amounts of taxes to support the banks, the only people this truly benefits when high-risk candidates default.
