Mortgage rates have doubled in the last year. As Americans continue to feel the massive burden of inflation, punishing people that make good financial decisions and are good with their finances, should not be the answer. Increasing rates for higher credit scores to subsidize those with lower scores is just going to cause this economic crisis to continue to get worse. What are you going to do when high credit score people flock to renting? Who will pay the lower rates for low credit scores then? This is absurd.
