    As the CEO of an independent mortgage bank I am completely supportive of expanding home ownership opportunities for all Americans and those who call the United States their home. I favor an open and inviting immigration policy and believe that the way to make American Great Again is through inclusive policies from immigration, education, employment, home ownership and beyond. With that as a backdrop, I believe that if people wish to immigrate to the US and become part of our diverse makeup, they should embrace that opportunity completely which includes learning the language of the United States which is English. Allowing them to select a language preference on mortgage documents does not encourage full integration into our society, it supports just the opposite. It also does not help them in facing all the other opportunities and challenges of home ownership when dealing with contractors, service providers and others who they will have to interface with while owning a home. I welcome all who wish to call the United States home and are willing to work for the American Dream of a brighter future, but believe they should fully embrace America and its language.
