As a child of immigrant parents (my father and I were both born in Mexico), I do not see the need to ask the borrowers for their preferred language. They opted to live in the US and purchase a home, so they should be able to understand all the legal ramifications of doing so in the English language. If they do not understand English, then, perhaps, they need to re-evaluate stepping into a legal contract.
