The NYS CXHE disagrees with the increase in g-fees as it hurts mortgage affordability; setting g-fee rates based on credit scores to the exclusion of alternative credit presents a bias against low-income first time homebuyers; and we are opposed to the NYS state level adjustments as an unfair burden on new borrowers.
