The FHLB provides Vintage Bank Kansas ("VBK") with many products and services so that VBK can better serve the communities it lives in. VBK resides in 9 very small communities, 1 intermediate sized community, and 1 large community. No matter the size of the community, VBK is there to serve and FHLB is a strong partner in that service. The FHLB provides funding that allows VBK to make all types of loans to its customers. It provides a mortgage loan product to allow VBK to make long term rate mortgages to its customers and to maintain that relationship. It provides products and consulting services to assist VBK with its asset liability management. FHLB has partnered with VBK to support local charitable organizations that directly contribute to our communities' welfare. Without this strong and stable support from the FHLB, VBK would be hard pressed to find those same services to help it meet its customer's needs. We always find their staff to work with VBK personnel in a pleasant and professional manner.
