We depend on the FHLB to provide us with a strong source of Liquidity. Without this available, we would often have to restrict our lending or severely restrict so as to not run short at anytime. FHLB provides loan advances as short as overnight to out well over 10 years. This allows us to meet our member's borrowing needs, make a small spread and serve their needs. if we did not have access to liquidity through the FHLB our member and local community will suffer with less options and higher costs to do business. Changing what the FHLB can do for us is really an attack on the smaller business and consumers.
