For my 35+ year career in banking, the FHLB has been a reliable partner for affordable borrowings to help with short-term liquidity needs. This has allowed us to focus on making loans to home buyers, new businesses, and consumers - all of which help grow our local communities and economies. We have also partnered throughout the years to make home ownership dreams come true through grants and also selling and servicing mortgage loans directly to/for the FHLB.
