The Federal Home Loan Bank provides sound and reliable, ready-source funding to spur housing, infrastructure, business, commercial and other community needs. As a 151-year old community bank whose mission is to sit in our local communities, employ individuals in our local communities, and invest in our local communities, the FHLB allows us to further our mission---and also compete with non-banks who do not serve our communities. We do not rely on the FHLB as much as we value their partnership in building stronger local communities.
