Workers CU has been a member of the FHLB of Boston more than two decades and it impact on our organization has been tremendous. We are a low-income designated credit union and a community development financial institution serving primarily Central Mass and Southern New Hampshire. The liquidity FHLBB has provided our organization over the years has enabled significant funding for housing within our markets well beyond the available funding resources in those markets. We use a wide variety of funding alternatives including CDA's and Affordable housing grants. The FHLBB and the FHLB system are a vital partner for WCU in our mission to improve the daily lives of our members.
