    The Federal Home Loan Banks and particularly the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York continue to provide a critical service to underserved communities like supporting over $860 million in grants to preserve over 90K affordable housing units. This is especially critical in the competitive and costly housing market today to ensure that opportunities exist beyond traditional bank and finance institutions that may not have an interest in serving the same population segments cared for by the Federal Home Loan Bank system.
    As a member of the Board of Directors on the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York I have had the privilege to see the commitment of their dedicated workforce and leadership to these and other Federal Home Loan Bank objectives and am impressed with their strategy to make these services even better in the future. Their focus on digital modernization, protection of customer information, and having a comprehensive strategy to ensure the best possible service with the highest degree of integrity make me proud to be a member of the team.
