Fowler State Bank is pleased to comment on the Federal Home Loan Bank. We are a community bank and we have found our membership in FHLB as an invaluable tool for our bank. Not only serving as a very user-friendly correspondent, but equal to or greater, as a means to sustain and support growth in our communities. We are able to accomplish this through our lending programs by offering fixed-rate longer term loans to our customers by matching borrowings for our bank through FHLB. The FHLB staff is amazing in helping us walk through the best structuring for each matched borrowing need. This also allows us to be competitive and retain business which we otherwise may have lost. We very much appreciate their mission and the job that is being carried out so well.
