We are fortunate to have a user friendly FHLB at our fingertips. We use FHLB for many reasons. Primarily for Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity purposes. In a competitive loan market, its very advantageous to be able to use FHLB to compete with the Farm Credit System on longer term loan pricing. It's nice to have liquidity available any time we need it. We've also used the MPF Program, the Letters of Credit for pledging for public deposits, and utilized the CDP Program to our benefit. The staff is always so helpful to accomplish our tasks. I really enjoy our area reps. Mark Woita was fantastic and Tony Venditte is an excellent hire. They all make it easy for us.
