I have been personally involved with the FHLBNY since the late 80's. When I joined the credit union as CEO in 2014, the first project I took on was joining the Home Loan Bank. I knew it was imperative for growth and stability to have the liquidity source needed to become a successful financial institution. Over the years we have used the Bank for liquidity to fund many mortgages and for several strategic initiatives. They also have provided many educational and informational opportunities for our board and staff. I can't imagine operating a successful credit union without the support of the Federal Home Loan Bank of NY. Thank you for listening.
