    Because we rely on FHLB Des Moines to offer long term fixed rates to home owners, we request no changes that would disrupt the way FHLB Des Moines responds to our needs. We need FHLB to continue to be a reliable partner with us as we have the past 90 years. We believe all current members of FHLB Des Moines should remain members of FHLB Des Moines going forward. Any changes, including any proposed expansion of membership, must not pose any risk to member capital in the FHLB system, nor impact FHLB Des Moines’ ability to serve community banks and the communities we serve. FHLB Des Moines continues to reliably provide liquidity to its members, our communities and the financial system.
