As a community bank in the state of Nebraska, the FHLBank system is very important to our bank, our customers and our community. We use the MPF program and we use FHLBank Topeka for our liquidity needs. Because of our relationship with FHLBank Topeka, we are able to help build our community by providing loans for small businesses, commercial property development and to assist our customers with home buying.

We operate in Lincoln, Ne and we do many things to help with local affordable housing needs. Lincoln, Ne has a goal of creating 5,000 new affordable housing units over the next 10 years. Cornhusker Bank is part of the solution for helping the city reach this goal and FHLBank is a vital part of the solution as well.
