In Nov 2024, we will elect a new President. If a Republican, he or she will replace current FHFA Director. Please adding a plan for exiting the conservatorship, which is about 14 years old.
I believe the GSEs can manage their business well without a conservator. Existence of GSEs lower mortgage loan interest rate, which benefit millions of home buyers. I pay 2.25% fixed for 15 year loan. I appreciate GSEs sincerely.
