Rising rates have already affected many buyers searching for a new home. Some are out of the market completely while others have less purchasing power and can't find homes in their new price range. Higher rates are affecting first time homebuyers the most and preventing them from achieving homeownership. Furthermore, Potential sellers are sitting tight because of a combo of higher rates and low inventory. Adding new LLPA's will just make it harder for everyone to buy a home.
