The solution to the purported legal issue is to fix and rectify the legal issue that has been identified. Suggesting that reducing LIHTC projects as the solution is very concerning on so many fronts. We are all focused on equity and inclusion, except apparently for Fannie Mae and the Treasury Dept.
Fix the problem! Do not penalize our most vulnerable community members that are struggling to find a couch to sleep on, let along an actual living unit.
