Appraisal modernization is just a ploy to overlook the true value of a home to the benefit of a lending institution. Claiming there is a shortage of appraisers is false. The fact is the management companies do not pay customary and reasonable fees. This forces appraisers to decline the work. If the fees are adjusted to market the appraisal work will be expedited.
