Affordable housing is headed toward a thing of the past if we cannot pass laws to preserve it. There is already a domino effect taking place in areas where the manufactured home parks have raised the rents beyond prices of an apartment. The apartment owners and other landlords are seeing the substantial lot rent increases as an opportunity to raise their rents and the affordable housing is fading away. If you take a good look around you will see it happening everywhere.
