    As a husband and first-time homebuyer, I see that this proposed rule- making will serve only a short-term interest and have a long-term impact that will harm the integrity of the home buying sector by essentially punishing those who have worked hard to earn good credit. This is not sustainable and is in fact dangerous. These policies should NOT be codified. A true fair and equitable system will reward long term responsibility and not subsidize poor credit scores with strong credit scores.
