This is abhorrent. I have worked hard to improve my credit. Now I'll be penalized for changing my credit uses behaviors for payong down debt and so will my children! We taught them how to get and keep good credit. Now they have saved up enough to buy a home and they'll be penalized for having good credit and saving money. They have gives up opportunities to go to concerts they scrimp by and eat sandwiches to save. Now they'll be penalized!!! It's utterly ridiculous.

Trying to help those with bad credit has already been done in a different manner. The housing crisis occurred because loan companies were giving loans to borrowers who had bad credit or even those with no verifiable income. I worked at an abstract office that did closings and watched as people who had awful credit or no money get homes and then watched them get foreclosed on. This is the same thing, while at the same time penalizing those who have done the work get a home!
