Hello, we have been renting for over a decade to save for a home and we are already struggling with the current interest rate on top of high housing prices in my area, Long Beach. Attached, please find my excellent credit score, as proof and it's a screeenshot pdf to provide the time stamp to show this is current. Although my credit score is excellent, I make less than $60K and would be a first time home-buyer. How does this make sense? This agency has had almost a century to implement affordable housing programs and failed. It should not fall on people who have good credit because we have to abide to this system to even get our foot in the door for a home loan. Is the plan to incite people to have bad credit? If people don't have good credit then there needs to be a specific program that helps them and not be a consequence to the general people who have good credit. It is not easy to buy home for someone who obtains good credit and this does not make any easier.

Please choose another solution that is effective and does not take away from people who have good credit and striving to buy home.

    Thank you,
    Jessica
