    To whom it may concern,

This proposal states that it is to “address barriers to sustainable housing opportunities for underserved communities” but it fails to mention that it is taking away opportunities for those who have worked tirelessly over many years, to improve and maintain a high credit score - the whole point of which is to prove financial stability and therefore receive lower mortgage rates and credit options. Allowing opportunities for one demographic should not results in removing opportunities for another. There will be no reason for anyone to maintain a good credit score, if those with a low score receive better rates! This is a gross misuse of power that will once again take away from hard working middle class Americans. To say I am disgusted is an under statement. I have worked tirelessly for the last 12 years; paying over $130,000 towards student loans for two degrees, paying every bill on time, and maintaining demanding jobs in order to provide myself and my family a better future. I have made smart financial decisions so that I could improve my credit score, to one day purchase a home - at a mortgage rate that I deserve. Now I will be punished for that? What a disgrace! What is there to work for anymore?

    Signed,
An overworked American who deserves more than her government cares to give in return
